Hi, I'm Mackenzie!
I have a BS in Social Work and I am currently a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist pursuing becoming an IBCLC.
I am a mother to three children who I have breastfed collectively for 37 months and counting! I have faced many challenges along the way which helped me find my voice to advocate for myself, my babies, and now helping others to do the same.
My vision when creating The Empowered Latch was to be a space where you can come for judgement-free support, evidence-based education, and of course, empowerment to make decisions for you and your babe.
When I'm not talking about birth, breastfeeding, or babies, you can find me with a baby on my hip, toddlers running around, and being a true homebody.
